Carisa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner based in the sunny state of Arizona. Her journey into nursing was inspired by her early volunteer work in hospice and long-term care units, where she discovered her passion for providing compassionate care. Over the years, Carisa has gained extensive experience working in various specialties, including telemetry, medical-surgical, orthopedics, and surgical services within both hospital and clinic settings.

Carisa earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Grand Canyon University and subsequently completed an accelerated nursing program to obtain her RN. She then achieved her Master's degree with honors through an online program based in San Diego, California, aspiring to specialize in dermatology.

Her practice philosophy centers on offering compassionate, personalized care tailored to each individual's needs. Outside of her professional life, Carisa enjoys exploring the diverse hiking trails around Phoenix, spending time with her dogs, and cherishing moments with family and friends. She also has a passion for cooking and baking, delighting her family with her culinary creations.
